Personal branding like a Pro

Dec. 12 concludes the year with the final LAPT convention of 2015 on the topic: "Lifestyle & Nutrition. LAPT has trained hundreds of Personal Trainers in recent years, helping them get the maximum return from their Personal Training careers.

Even as a non-LAPT member, you can benefit from the knowledge of several top presenters, including: hormone expert Ralph Moorman, world kickboxing champion Rico Verhoeven, researcher Jan Middelkamp ánd Sitting is Killing author Arto Pesola. And you can talk to me during my workshop on personal branding. The goal: searching for your own strengths and weaknesses, and finding out how to use them to create new opportunities. In order to market your PT business even better.

Do you also set goals for yourself?

As a PT'er, you are good at coaching people. You get your clients to set goals and help them achieve results. That's what you enjoy and why you chose this profession. But do you also set goals for yourself? And are you achieving the results you want within your company? The love of the profession has been the main reason for many people to become personal trainers, and that is often where the most energy goes. Still, it is important to devote time and energy to growing your business.

Imagine this: you teach 40 one-hour training sessions a week. That means little time for yourself. In the evenings you have to do preparations. And then you have the administration. When you're just starting out, this might not be such a big problem, but in the long run, that's obviously not what you want. Who are you working for, if you are working more for your business than on your business?

By looking at your own business as a brand, you create the opportunity for further growth. Because what kind of brand are you? To find out, during the workshop we look at who you are, and how you can establish yourself as a strong brand. Because your personality comes out in your handshake, the coffee you pour to the way you interact with your customers. In short: everything you show of yourself. What makes you unique?

Being unique in your profession

During the workshop I will pass along many examples. But here comes one already: A personal trainer I met during a workshop this year went looking for his own unique angle. Training with your dog. It is no longer strange to train outside, but with your dog it becomes a very different experience. Going into the woods and being active with your four-legged friend. This is quite different from being on the treadmill indoors. And it's striking: this unique form of training has already attracted numerous new customers within a few weeks. Creating a niche brand can have a lot of value.

new concepts for Personal Trainers

Of course, in my workshop I will give many more examples of inspiring success stories. And in a short workshop I will help you to find out what kind of brand you are! Everything to ensure that you get one step closer to your final goal.

Do you have questions you would like answered in my workshop? Or do you have suggestions?

Then send me a message and I would love to meet you at the LAPT closing event of the year in Veenendaal.
